Technical Specifications
-
Starting Pressure: Manually adjustable between 1.5 and 2.5 bar. (It is generally recommended to set this about 0.2 bar above the static pressure of the plumbing above the switch).
-
Maximum Working Pressure: Up to 10 bar.
-
Maximum Current: Rated for 10A to 12A (depending on your specific regional model).
-
Voltage/Frequency: Designed for standard single-phase 220-240V (50/60Hz) power supplies.
-
Temperature Limits: Safely handles clean water up to a maximum temperature of 40°C.
-
Connections: Standard 1-inch threaded ports for both suction and discharge.
-
Protection Rating: IP55, meaning it is highly resistant to dust and protected against low-pressure water jets.
Core Operating Features
-
Demand-Based Operation: Instantly starts the pump when a tap is opened (detecting a pressure drop) and stops it about 10 seconds after the tap is closed (detecting that flow has stopped).
-
Dry-Run Protection: Automatically shuts the pump off if it detects a lack of water in the system, preventing the motor from burning out.
-
Auto-Reset Function: If the system triggers a dry-run shutdown, the electronic board will automatically attempt to restart the pump at specific intervals (usually 1, 5, 15, and 60 minutes) to check if the water supply has returned.
-
Integrated Components: Features a built-in check valve (non-return valve) to maintain pressure and an easy-to-read mechanical pressure gauge.
-
Maintenance-Free: Unlike traditional expansion tanks, it does not require periodic air preloading or internal bladder replacements.
Materials & Build
-
Body Construction: Molded from heavy-duty Techno polymer.
-
Seals & O-Rings: Made of NBR/EPDM rubber for water-tight integrity.
-
Hardware: Internal screws and metallic components are typically Stainless Steel (AISI 304).
